Sean Bell Civil Disobedience @ Majestic Theatre, May 14
Report and Photos by Angelo Rivera

On Wednesday, May 14, 2008, a group of Street Organization Coalition (SOC) members gathered in front of Madison Square Garden at 6 pm ready to march and deliver a letter to the producers at the Majestic Theatre on 44th Street and Eighth Avenue where Phantom of the Opera, the longest running show on Broadway is held. The letter and the march were intended to raise and keep the conscious awareness to the public as to the verdict of the Sean Bell trial. The letter was handed to the producers stating please remember this national outrage and to maintain pressure on federal law enforcement agencies. These marches of civil disobedience will continue for the future.
